How It All Started

Gulab Meal Prep started as Gulab Indian Bistro — the best Indian Food in Clovis. The name "Gulab," meaning rose in Hindi and Urdu, reflects the warmth and care behind every meal prepared.

Gulab Meal Prep was created to bring back the feeling of real ghar ka khana — fresh, homestyle Indian food made with care, the way your ammi/maa would make. Founded by Manpreet Singh, Gulab started from a simple idea: people deserve meals that taste like home, even when life gets busy. In Fresno and Clovis, where so many desi families grew up around homemade curries, fresh rotis, and Sunday cooking sessions with the whole family, Gulab fills the gap between convenience and authenticity.

Every meal is inspired by the kind of food served in desi households — masaledar but balanced, slow-cooked with pyaar, generous portions, and recipes that feel familiar from the very first bite. 

Unlike normal Indian meal prep, Gulab focuses on healthier cooking with fresh ingredients, no seed oils, and both shakahari and non-veg options prepared fresh every week.
